Subject: Change in Email Password Policy
In view of change in Email Password Policy of NIC, now email users will be prompted to change their email password after an interval of every 90 days. Further, all users of email account are required to change their present email password before 14th November, 2009 failing which your email account would be deactivated and will be re-activated only after verification of credentials through State NIC Coordinator.
Therefore, in order to avoid any inconvenience, all users are requested to change their email password immediately.
Procedure to Change Email Password
For changing the Email password, the user has to login into account through web browser and follow the steps:
1. Click Options link.
2. Now click Global link
3. Click Change Password link - in Change Password page, enter your Current Password and New Password.
4. Click Save to save your new password.
The changed email password policy is effective from 9th November, 2009.

Subject: Change in DTL Email Addresses
In view of change in domain name of DTL website from old domain name delhitransco.gov.in to new dtl.gov.in, all DTL email addresses have been migrated on new domain name dtl.gov.in with immediate effect.
The email address on earlier domain such as xyz@delhitransco gov.in is now renamed as xyz@dtl.gov.in with login & password remaining the same.
You will be able to continue send and receive emails from both email Ids for next three months.
Please note that your old email id of delhitransco.gov.in will be deactivated automatically after 3 months.
Therefore, all email users are advised to use their new email ids and communicate the same to all contacts, colleagues, friends for updating their address books.
